We wanted something for our son's room that would provide him with some comforting light if he woke but wasn't super bright and this does the trick. My son loves the rocket ship design and we like that it can be removed from the base. Just be aware that the light off the base lasts for about 8 hours. I don't like that it is made in China, but I found it impossible to find anything that wasn't. I would highly recommend this light!

After a series of power outages, I got this as back up for my son's room. It's so cute! It glows warm red when you take if off the charger and automatically comes on if the power goes out. He loves it and plays with it often and it works great. It looks cool while providing a feeling of security--fabulous!
Good and safe nightlightMay 16, 2010 Fred Good nightlight for the kids. It is safe and they enjoy having the light in their room. I wish it was a little bigger and brighter and that the base light would shut off during the day automatically but other than that, it is the best thing I have found.
